The Tactee system is a set of assistive devices designed to restore autonomy and independence in the daily activities of people with mono or bilateral functional grasping deficits that aim to improve their quality of life. The Tactee system returns functional autonomy and independence in different daily activities such as eating, drinking, writing, etc.; eliminating the caregiver who’s been considered indispensable so far.
When the grasping element is approached by a Tactee, tool, the magnetic force attracts it and allows a firm grip without using fingers. At the same time, its special design allows an easy release, permitting interchanging tools without any effort nor assistance, in total autonomy. The Tactee method involves the use of the system along the rehabilitation path of the users and promotes it in every context of everyday life, in an easy, decent and independent way. Tactee is a patented system based on an innovative magnetic coupling solution, between a grasping element worn by the hand’s user and various interchangeable tools that guarantee high performance in autonomy and safety.

Tactee Kit Contents
- Grasping Element – the flexible strap made from polyurethane that makes it both hygienic and easy to close the grasping element using the mouth. To secure the grasping element further there is a thumb strap that prevents the adapter from sliding off the hand once loaded. Can be used on the right or left hand. Available in S, M, or L.
- Fork, Spoon & Knife – Injection moulded and made of stainless steel and polycarbonate. The angle of the fork, spoon & knife can be adjusted by using a bending iron.
- Universal Adapter – can be used with a toothbrush, razor, pen or other items.
- Bottle Holder – has a velcro strap attached which makes it easy to attach a bottle or cup.
- Pads – a set of dorsal pads that can be applied on the Grasping Element for users who are pressure-sensitive.
- Black Storage Case – allows you to store, protect and transport the Tactee Kit contents safely.
