Shear Comfort Heel Protectors protect the skin on the heels. The wool layer wraps around the heel and ankle, leaving the rest of the foot free to move. Seams are positioned on the exterior of the protectors to avoid irritation areas of skin at risk of damage. Hook and loop straps give plenty of room for adjustment.
- Protection for the heels
Provides heels with protection from pressure or friction damage, using the softest sheep’s wool.
- High density wool for added comfort The Shear Comfort Heel Protectors are made from XD1900 which uses high density wool woven at 1900g per sqm for pressure redistribution and added comfort.
- Healthy microclimate for the skin
Wool takes up to 30% of its weight in water vapour without feeling moist. The air trapped between the wool fibres allows heat and moisture to dissipate.
- Machine washable up to 80 degrees Celsius The fabric-backed material on which the wool is woven makes it easy to wash up to 80 degrees Celsius – for a hygienic wash.
